"No water, no life. No blue, No green "

Sylvia Earle

India is a peninsular country and is surrounded by Bay of Bengal on the East, The Arabian sea on the west and the Indian ocean washing its southern tip. The coastline is more than 7500km, lending the landscape a unique Azure and Emerald hue.

Besides the obvious natural beauty of the coastal area, tourism, fisheries and petroleum basins are results of this peninsula.

Photographing boats along the Indian coast is a majestic confluence of colors. The 9 Indian states along the Indian coast have unique color coding for the sea going, mechanized boats. These boats are of different shapes and sizes, yet each is unique against the beautiful, crystal waters. From May to August , boats are not seen in water and no fishing is practiced either
